Although it may seem impossible now you are going to be able to figure out how to do some things like:
Find the distance accross a busy freeway or a river or a lake without actually measuring it.
Calculate the point in space where Haley's comet turns back toward the sun.
Calcullate how fast a plane is really going when a strong wind hits it from any angle.
How strong you need to be to pull me back on a swing.
How long it will take a human cannonball to reach the top of his or her maximum hieght.
